Vital wheat gluten is a wonderful product to use for those that love to make home made bread. Vital wheat gluten helps maintain the bread shape and moisture. Vital wheat gluten can also be used to make seitan. Seitan is a meat substitute. Vital wheat gluten helps with raising of the raw dough and will improve the chewiness and texture of your bread. This is a must have for your long term food storage staples.

Shelf Life: Should be stored in cool dark place, optimum condition is 60 degrees or less for longer storage. Storing properly in our enameled cans and Super pail buckets, product may store 5-10 years. Bulk products need to be repackaged for long term storage.

Directions: Use for baking breads. Add 1 tbs. per 1 cup of flour. Wheat gluten is about 75% protein. Gluten retains moisture which will delay staling. It adds volume to breads by trapping gas. It will help dough elasticity and binds the bread.
