All orders are subject to the Shipping and Return Policies, times, and conditions of the individual suppliers of those items. PrepSOS.com does not hold, maintain, or warehouse any items from any suppliers identified on the site and fully indemnifies itself from any shipping guarantees. We make every effort to correctly represent the anticipated shipping times of each supplier and will from time to time make those adjustments to our site to reflect existing conditions, such as supply chain disruptions, tariff impacts, and other shipping considerations.

Sales Tax

Sales taxes are assessed on a state-by-state and customer-by-customer basis. Additional states are subject to change based on warehouse shipping locations.

Orders are typically processed same day. In some cases orders may be processed within 1-2 business days depending on order complexity, supply shortages, substitutions, identity confirmations (to avoid fraud), and other conditions on a case by case basis.

Shipping Vendors

Most orders ship via UPS ground. Some orders require a freight delivery. We are making every effort to offer timely, consistent, and high-quality shipping options from each of our suppliers.

Free Shipping

For orders where products are exceedingly heavy or awkward, or require freighted delivery, the site-wide designation of “Free Shipping over $99*, may not apply. Where possible, we make every effort to provide our customers with an exceptional experience, including offering free shipping.

Supply Chain Issues

Due to COVID-19 and other unforeseen supply-chain issues, etc. shipping may take longer than otherwise stated. Many products have a shipping estimate in the description but this is only an estimate based on previous results, not a guarantee. We do our best to ship each order within the expected timeframe.

In rare instances certain products may take up to 8-12+ weeks to ship. If this happens the other items in the order will be shipped first and the back-ordered item as soon as available.

Tariffs

The Trump Administration’s use of Tariffs is negatively impacting the ecommerce industry, the emergency preparedness industry, and specifically many of our suppliers. This may result in stock-outs, increased prices, increased shipping expenses, and other unforeseen impacts not already realized. PrepSOS.com is working tirelessly with our suppliers to provide an exceptional preparation experience so you, as your customer can have peace of mind with each purchase you make, that you’re getting high-quality, dependable food and gear.
