Our imitation sausage bits are a versatile vegetable protein that can be used to make multiple of things. These bits are great for omelets, pizzas, spaghetti sauce, casseroles, and soups. These bits are also great for flavoring gravy so you can have your biscuits and gravy in the morning. These are delicious and they are easy to use. This is a must have for your long term food storage staples.
Shelf Life: Should be stored in cool dark place, optimum condition is 60 degrees or less for longer storage. Storing properly in our enameled cans and Super pail buckets, product may store 5-10 years. Bulk products need to be repackaged for long term storage.
Directions: Imitation flavored sausage has a sausage-like flavor, aroma, and color. Reconstituted it has the appearance of cooked ground sausage. It may be used in gravies, soups, egg dishes, casseroles, spaghetti, and pizza dishes. For each serving, add ½ cup water to ¼ cup bits and simmer or rehydrate.
