Rainy Day Foods dehydrated sweet garden peas are great tasting and easy to use. They can be eaten as a side dish, added to soups and casserole, rice, and even in salads. Tastes just like fresh garden peas after reconstituting. Perfect to add flavoring to soups and main dishes.
Shelf Life: Should be stored in cool dark place, optimum condition is 60 degrees or less for longer storage. Storing properly in our enameled cans and Super pail buckets, product may store 20 plus years. Bulk products need to be repackaged for long term storage.
Directions: For each serving of dehydrated green peas, cover 1/4 cup peas with 1/2 cup water and bring to a boil. Simmer about 15 minutes until tender. Season as desired. For salad, let stand covered with water for 1 hour or until soft. Great in rice dishes, soup, and casseroles.
